About Saskatchewan University

Established in the year 1907, the University of Saskatchewan (USask) is a Canadian Public Research University. As one of the top research-intensive, medical doctoral universities in Canada, this university is a home to world-leading research in areas of global importance, such as water and food security and infectious diseases. The University of Saskatchewan is also the largest education institution in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

University at a Glance

The University of Saskatchewan is housed in 1,865 acres of land within the city of Saskatoon. Of the total land area, around 745 acres is used for academic area, student residences and athletic facilities. The campus also houses many colleges that are affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan. The campus also has seven museums and art galleries and a physical activity complex. The University of Saskatchewan offers more than 130 programs through its 13 colleges, 6 affiliated colleges, and three graduate schools under it.
Currently, there are over 3,000 international students from 130 countries at USask.

Admission Requirement

In order to be eligible for admission at the University of Saskatchewan, students will have to meet the following requirements:

When it comes to accommodation, the USask offers the students with numerous options. International students can choose from on-campus accommodation, off-campus accommodation, apartments, homestays, etc.

On-Campus Accommodation

On-Campus accommodation at USask include 3 options, namely college Quarter, Voyageur Place and McEown Park. Students can apply for on-campus residence and avail of its benefits by applying online at the Housing Portal.

Off-Campus Accommodation

The university also provides off-campus accommodation options to the international students. With off-campus accommodation, students can live as per their will, while being close to the Campus.
